From Drawing to Production-Ready Sample
A structured 5-stage sampling and prototyping workflow that reduces integration risk, accelerates development cycles, and ensures your custom LED solution performs exactly as specified before mass production begins.
Structured Sampling Workflow
5-Stage Process for Every Custom LED Sample
Each stage is designed to catch issues early, align expectations precisely, and ensure the approved sample maps directly to your production requirements -- reducing risk at scale.
Sample Development
Engineering team reviews your drawings or concept specs and produces the first physical prototype aligned to form, fit, and function requirements.
Structural Validation
Dimensional inspection and fit verification against housing tolerances, mounting conditions, connector alignment, and assembly requirements for your product.
Performance Testing
Photometric measurement, thermal aging, lumen output, CCT accuracy, and electrical safety tests using integrating spheres and temperature chambers.
Revision Confirmation
Feedback is reviewed by engineering, adjustments are applied, and revised samples are delivered for your approval -- with full documentation of each change iteration.
Pre-Production Review
Final sample is locked as the golden reference. BOM, tolerance specs, and QC parameters are recorded and frozen before mass production authorization.
Prototype Scope
What We Can Develop Samples For
Whether you're developing a new LED fixture for a project rollout or integrating a lighting module into a furniture product, our engineering team can develop working prototypes across a broad range of LED applications.
Project LED Fixtures
Custom downlights, panels, linear lights, high bays, flood lights, and track systems tailored to project specifications or installation constraints.
OEM Integrated Lighting Modules
Built-in LED modules for wardrobes, cabinets, sunshades, display units, and commercial equipment -- designed to your structural dimensions and wiring layout.
LED Components & Sub-Assemblies
Custom housings, connector assemblies, wiring harnesses, and LED sub-assemblies for LED manufacturers requiring validated components.
Testing & Validation Capabilities
All samples pass through our in-house testing equipment before being shipped for your evaluation.

Why Engineers & Buyers Trust Our Sampling Process
We understand the real-world pressures of product development timelines and project delivery schedules. Our process is designed around your risk profile, not ours.
Your R&D Extension
When you're integrating lighting into furniture, sunshades, or commercial equipment, every millimeter and every wiring route matters. We act as a technical partner -- not just a supplier -- through your entire development cycle.
-
Start from your existing drawings or rough concepts
No need for complete engineering packages -- we interpret and advise.
-
Connector, wiring harness, and size modifications included
Integration-ready samples, not generic off-the-shelf modules.
-
Revision tracking with documented change logs
Clear audit trail from first sample to production lock.
-
Golden sample retained for ongoing production reference
Prevents quality drift between initial order and reorders.
Confirm Before You Commit
Project-scale procurement carries real delivery and installation risk. Our sampling process gives you a validated physical reference to review against your specification sheet before you approve bulk production.
-
Match lumen output, beam angle, and CCT to specification
Avoid on-site surprises with pre-verified photometric performance.
-
Confirm installation fit before bulk delivery
Sample validation prevents costly rework and schedule slippage.
-
Compliance documentation provided with samples
CE, UL, RoHS, and other certificates available as required.
-
Bulk production locked to approved sample standard
No quality variation between sample batch and mass order.
Common Questions
Sampling Process FAQ
What do I need to provide to start a sample request?
You can start with technical drawings, CAD files, reference photos, or a written description of your requirements. Our engineering team will review what you provide and advise on any additional information needed before proceeding to sample development.
How long does first sample delivery typically take?
Lead time for first samples depends on the complexity of customization. Simple modifications to existing standard products can be ready faster, while fully custom designs may require longer tooling and engineering time. Contact our team with your specific requirements for an accurate estimate.
How many revision rounds are typically included?
We work through revisions iteratively until the sample meets your requirements. Each revision cycle is documented with a change log so both teams have full traceability. The number of rounds depends on the scope of changes requested -- our goal is to reach confirmed approval as efficiently as possible.
Can the approved sample be used as a production quality reference?
Yes. After final approval, the confirmed sample is registered as the golden reference unit. BOM specifications, tolerance parameters, and QC checkpoints are all frozen to this sample. This reference is used for incoming material inspection and final QC during every production batch.
Are samples available for standard LED fixture products too?
Yes. Standard products including LED panels, downlights, linear lights, high bays, and others can be sampled directly. If your project requires light customization of a standard model -- such as a different CCT, wattage, or housing modification -- those can also be developed and validated through our sampling process.
